Starting on March 1, the Heroic 30 Challenge kicks off – inviting men on a 31-day journey featuring a different daily motivational video from Catholic leaders. With a focus on prayer, the aim is to help bring God back into viewers’ daily routines.

The challenge was inspired by Calgary Bishop William McGrattan’s encouragement to make March a month of renewal for men, says Sean Lynn, Executive Director God Squad and National Director of Canada for Heroic Men. Through the guidance of St. Joseph, their vision is to form and strengthen men – enouraging them to embrace God’s vocation in their lives.

Heroic Men is a platform featuring Catholic media – with the goal of spurring conversations and hosting dynamic small groups in parishes. The Canadian branch of the North American organization is run by God Squad Canada, a charitable society that was started by four police officers in the Diocese of Calgary who – through their work on the streets – saw the effect of the lack of loving fathers in the family.

Topics will range from embracing fatherly protection and heroic protection to fortitude in adversity and prudence in decision-making.
