Reflections for Laetare Sunday

4th Sunday of Lent – Short Reflection

This Fourth Sunday of Lent, Laetare Sunday, invites us to pause and rejoice as we journey toward Easter. Today’s Gospel tells of Jesus healing the man born blind, revealing Himself as the Light of the world and reminding us that God often works where we least expect. The readings challenge us to look beyond outward appearances and allow Christ to open our eyes to His presence in our daily lives. As the Lord chose David for his heart, not his appearance, we too are called to see with faith. May this Sunday fill us with renewed hope and deeper trust in the One who guides and restores us.
